Valuable Items Are Piling Up In Lost Property – Is Yours Here?

We have noticed a growing collection of unclaimed items in our Lost Property department.

What’s more, some of them are very valuable, ranging from Apple AirPods to high-end smartphones and other valuable possessions. Some of these items have remained unclaimed for weeks and even months. We urge the rightful owners to come forward and collect their belongings.

If you believe any unclaimed items might belong to you, please email Eddie Muvhango at the Security Team at eddie.muvhango@angloamerican.com. In your email, please describe the item, including any unique identifying marks that can help verify its ownership. Eddie will assist you in confirming if the item is yours and make arrangements for its safe return.

We have a clean desk policy to ensure our workspaces are as safe and hygienic as possible and in keeping with good workplace aesthetics. Plus, if you’re used to having a clean, clear desk, it’s unlikely you’ll leave something behind by mistake!

Remember to take your mugs to the kitchen once you are done with them and to leave nothing on your desk at the end of the day. A reminder that only closed lid mugs may be taken to desks, to avoid hot beverage spills.
