Cyber Security Awareness Week

What it is

Our Cyber Security Awareness Week is an opportunity for you to learn how to be your most secure self at work and at home. We invite you to join us for an engaging learning experience at Imbizo Auditorium, after which we’ll be available in the Vuka Café area for the rest of the day to have a chat, share some helpful material and answer any questions you have about cyber security.

Why it’s important

Refreshing your knowledge about cyber security is important because we continually face new cyber threats at Anglo American and in our personal lives. Cyber attackers will try anything to access our technologies or steal our information. And they will rely on us to make the mistakes that allow them in.

Why you should attend

The event is to help and guide YOU towards being cyber safe and secure. But if that doesn’t sway you – prizes and treats will be available for some lucky winners who participate and engage with the event! The event is only being hosted in-person, so mark your calendars and we’ll see you at Imbizo Auditorium.

Date: Monday 21 August – Friday 25 August 2023 | (you need only attend one session on any given day)
Time: Two sessions daily (attend only one) | 1st session: 10h00 – 11h00 | 2nd session: 14h00 – 15h00
