Celebrating Youth Month this June

Celebrating Youth Month this June

The youth of 1976 rallied together and started a movement that shaped the reality we live in today as South Africans. They envisioned a future where young people would not only have quality education, but their inputs would create a better world and a better tomorrow for themselves and their country. A sustainable future.

We believe that the time for that future is here, where the youth of today continue to create innovative ideas and foster progressive thinking to shape our reality. Embracing a sustainable present to usher in a time of growth and positivity for decades to come.

As we celebrate Youth Month, we want to take a moment to honour the youth of the past and celebrate the youth of today who are leading us towards the future. Therefore, we are acknowledging and celebrating all the incredible talent, skills, and innovation at Anglo American.

It is with your tenacity, excellence, and unique skill sets that you have brought over the the years that’s creating the future in real-time! So, this Youth Month, we are saying it loud and proud, Anglo American Class of 2023, there can’t be a future without you, and we want all employees, of all ages, to join in on the activities and engage.
