We recently celebrated a pivotal milestone – our 1st birthday in our new home at 144 Oxford – and it was a beautiful celebration that carried a meaningful and sentimental message.
To honour this milestone, we handed out 800 Spekboom seedlings to all eager employees who popped by from 10 October to 14 October. It was an incredible celebration of how far we’ve traveled to lay down our deep growing roots, and how resilience and joy have been fostered through the moving process. As we water our Spekbooms, we are reminded of how we water the ground on which we flourish, and here at 144 Oxford, it feels like we will grow and thrive from the ground up in the most nurturing environment.
Spekboom is a reminder that it is joyfully possible to adapt to new surroundings, plus this miracle plant and our 5-star rated building have more in common than you think.
