World Aids Day Commemoration
Collective Action: Sustain and Accelerate HIV Progress.
HIV remains a significant public health challenge in South Africa and globally. While incredible progress has been made with access to antiretroviral therapy, over 7.5 million South Africans are currently living with HIV, and an estimated 39.9 million people are living with HIV globally. In 2023, approximately 630 000 people died from HIV-related causes, while an estimated 1.3 million people acquired HIV. Sadly, stigma, misinformation, and complacency still prevent many from getting tested and treated.
Join us as we raise awareness, tackle misconceptions, and encourage regular testing to combat the spread of HIV and AIDS. Together, we can create an empowered community that stands up for health and wellness.
