Why Attend?
Safety has been identified as the top priority at Anglo American. Our goal is to ensure that everyone is safe and to proactively report hazards before
incidents occur. One of the key tools to help us achieve this is Visible Felt Leadership (VFL) — a leadership process with a strong focus on safety.
VFL is about influencing people to do the right things by connecting with them, showing genuine care, and coaching them on safety. The emphasis is
not on technical safety aspects, but instead on the behavioural and human elements that drive a strong safety culture.

What the Training Covers:
This half-day programme includes:
• Introduction to safety at Anglo American – key elements and priorities
• Leadership – essential components
• Employee motivation and engagement
• VFL – principles and key steps
• Role-playing VFL skills
• Feedback on VFL role-plays
• Sustaining good VFL practices and embedding them in our culture
