Introducing Team Talk – We say, we all do

Remember to participate in the new Team Talk survey.

Last week, we launched Team Talk, our new approach to engaging with our teams, which starts with a survey but is designed to go much further.

Even as we navigate change, it is important that everyone has a voice and feels heard. Team Talk is about understanding what a good day looks like at Anglo American, what’s working well, and where we can improve.

Team Talk is very different to our previous employee engagement surveys:

– First, it’s short and straightforward – there are only around 20 questions, so we can focus on the issues that matter most to improve the way we work.
– Most importantly, it gives accountability for planning and implementing change to every team at every level.

This means that once you receive your results, you, your leader, and your team will work together to build on the good aspects and improve the areas that need improvement. So, instead of being told the decisions at a group level, you will become the decision-makers who are accountable for making meaningful change.

While the insights from the survey will spark the initial conversation, the goal is for teams to keep the dialogue going, fostering ongoing improvements throughout the year.
