Fire Safety Week
Get your fire extinguisher assessed for free or purchase home fire safety equipment.
As part of our yearly fire safety programme, we are once again hosting Fire Safety Week, from 8th – 10th July 2024. During Fire Safety Week, you can bring in your personal fire extinguisher to have it serviced for FREE by the Fire Ops team.
What you need to do…
- Simply bring your personal fire extinguisher to work. You may bring in more than one.
- Please submit your fire extinguisher on parking B1 level at GSS. It will be assessed, attended to, and returned after it has been assessed back to GSS
- Drop-off time is 07:30 to 15:00 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Where to buy fire equipment during Fire Safety Week…
The Fire Ops display tables in the lobby on the ground floor, GSS Oxford Parks, will be available for you to buy CO2 or DCP fire extinguishers, fire blankets, backing boards or smoke detectors. Fire Ops staff will also be on hand to answer any questions you have around service, sales and general fire safety.
Once your order is placed, you can expect delivery the following week. Fire Ops will do a bulk delivery at one go, to reduce overall costs
