We’re Moving To Windows 11
What’s happening?
Your Anglo American laptop* or desktop* is being upgraded to Windows 11.
What do you need to do?
The download and installation will take place in the background – you can continue working as normal during the download. You will then be asked to restart your device which can take between 15 minutes to just over an hour. During that time, you won’t be able to work on your device.
You will be given two days to complete the upgrade, so we recommend that you restart when you have a break, or before or after working hours.
Why is this happening?
Microsoft is stopping support for Windows 10 in 2025.
