There are a number of controls that can prevent falling or dropped objects. Make sure they are in place and working properly.
Falling or dropped objects can be anything, from a tiny bolt to falling rocks and can present a serious safety concern whenever work is done overhead or in an elevated location.
It’s important to understand how quickly seemingly harmless falling objects accelerate to deadly speeds and can cause injury or even death. The best way to overcome falling or dropped objects is prevention; stopping incidents before they happen.
