Global Macroeconomic Briefing – Watch the Recording

Last week Tuesday, at Imbizo Auditorium and on MS Teams, Benjamin Jones, Lead Economist, and Peter Schmitz, Head of Macro and Commodity Research, provided an overview of the global macro trends impacting Anglo American.

The talk gave attendees a much deeper understanding of how and why global macroeconomic conditions are key to the stability and profitability of our operating environment.

Ben Jones provided an overview of current trends and developments in the macro economy, including inflation, fiscal and central bank policies, as well as China’s recent reversal of its Zero Covid Policies and the implications for our markets.
