Celebrating International Women’s Day this Wednesday

This year’s global theme is #EmbraceEquity, speaking to something that once was just imagined and not lived; a gender-equal world. This is described as a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination, one that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. It also speaks to a world where difference is valued and celebrated, allowing us to together work towards women’s equality.

This Wednesday – and every day – let’s celebrate women’s achievements. Celebrate your own as a woman, celebrate the achievements of other women and graciously accept and embrace others’ celebration of you. As Anglo American we have a special event planned for you later this month which we will update you about in the coming weeks… watch this space!
