144 Oxford opens its doors

The first official tour of our new offices at 144 Oxford in Rosebank took place on 3 March 2021. Anton Uys and his team hosted Anglo American Group Director leaders on a guided tour of the building.

The aim of the tour was to show the group the progress that has been made to date, while giving them a sneak peek of the different employee experiences in the building. With safety being the number one priority, the tour began with a safety share and pledge.

Throughout the tour, the proposed materials, art and office equipment were displayed while the interior design team were on hand to explain their approach and choices. There was much enthusiasm and excitement with the proposed collaborative spaces and future-forward working environment.

All Anglo American JHB Corporate office employees.

What are the latest developments on-site?
We're on track to move in the second half of the year. The move will take place in a phased approach with JHB Corporate office moving first.

What are you most excited about?
The new building provides an opportunity for us to work smarter, collaborate and innovate.
