In short, we’re looking for Movers & Shapers.
What’s a Mover and what do they need to do?
A Mover is focused on the Actual Move. A Mover is organised and reliable as well as detail oriented and deadline driven.
The role will involve:
- Managing the Clean-up Campaign
- Inform the Relocation Team of special requirements and BU Exceptions
- Distribute packing materials
- Oversee the packing of storerooms, special areas and team storage
- Assist with ensuring boxes and IT Assets are labelled correctly and overall move readiness
- Sign out the Relocation boxes and miscellaneous items
- Be available if required, over the move week and weekend
- Be present on the move-in Sunday / Monday to sign in the correct number of boxes and IT Equipment
- Assist with the unpacking process after the move
What’s a Shaper and what do they need to do?
A Shaper communicates and shares information about the move. A Shaper is a sharp shooter, a great communicator, an influencer.
The role will involve:
- Receive comms which should be shared with your team/department
- Be available to your team/department to answer any questions or queries they have
- Know and understand the move process, reasons, dates and logistics involving the move
- Be sensitive to employees worries, concerns and assist where you can to help them resolve it, or put them in contact with the person that can
- Address any questions or concerns and share with the Move Team
- Assist with driving engagement, excitement and participation in the move, what’s coming, competition and updates
- Attend Shaper Sessions, and update and give progress to your team/department
- Be pro-active with communications, suggest ideas and ways to further drive engagement
