Right Crowd and Social Distancing

RightCrowd is a wearable device that is designed to protect the health of all our employees by letting you know when social distancing is being breached. This means in the event of a positive COVID-19 case, we are able to track and trace who has been exposed.

    How does it work?
  • You need to insert your Access Card into the device to activate RightCrowd.
  • Each device continuously monitors other devices.
  • When two people come too close, and social distancing is breached, the device flashes YELLOW as a first warning.
  • If a safe distance is not re-established within 5 seconds, the device will flash RED and the interaction is recorded and stored.
  • The card only records interactions when social distancing is breached.
  • When you are not at work, or with people who do not have the device, the device does not work or track you.

What will the data be used for?
The data will be used for the sole purpose of COVID-19 Contact Identification and Social Distancing Awareness and will be stored for no longer than one month after it is collected.

Does the RightCrowd device need to be charged?
Yes it does. When you collect your access card and RightCrowd device, you will also receive a charger. Please make sure your device is charged if you are coming into the office.

Do I have to wear it at work?
Yes, it’s compulsory to wear the device at work. Your access card is linked to your RightCrowd wearable device, so you can not borrow anyone else’s device. When you are at work, you are not allowed to deactivate it.
