1. Are there other companies other than Anglo American and De Beers Group that will be housed at 144 Oxford?
Yes, currently the other tenants in the building are:
Pepsico
Rothschild & Co
Intergrove
Finastra
UBS
2. Will there be a canteen, or will we have to buy food from the mall and surrounding restaurants?
There will be a canteen that offers a wide variety of food.
3. Will hot desking be provisioned throughout the building or would there be separate floors dedicated for different business units?
Yes, hot desking, along with pause areas, talk pods and meeting rooms will be positioned on all the floors that Anglo American occupies.
4. What will be shared with all occupants and what will be the Anglo American only facilities?

5. Is there segregation from the other companies that occupy the building?
Yes, Anglo American and De Beers Group will occupy their own floorspace.
6. Is there a breastfeeding room for moms returning to work from maternity leave?
Yes, there is a parent and child room on each work floor with private facilities for nursing.
7. Is there a gym?
Yes, there is a gym with spinning and aerobics studios, as well as a stretch, cardio and weights zone. Change rooms are also available.
8. Will there be a modern room or resting area for a quick rest, meditation and breathing?
There are soundproof booths, a lounge area, conservatory and various outdoor spaces which provide the place and space to rest, meditate or enjoy a breath of fresh air.
9. Will we be able to visit the building if we are in the area?
Not at the moment, as it is currently a construction site managed by a 3rd party construction company.
10. How will we separate Anglo American from the other building occupants?
Shared occupancy with other tenants will be on floors ground, 6, 7 and 8.
The other tenants, as well as Anglo American, have access control to their office areas.
11. Do we have to get new access cards, or do we use our existing ones?
The process will be communicated in detail as we move closer to the move date, but yes you will need to do a new induction before a new access card is issued.
12. Will all the Business Unit executives sit on the same floor?
Yes. Anglo American Platinum executives will sit with their business unit on the 5th floor. De Beers Group executives will sit with their business unit on the first floor. All other executives as well as CEOs and the Group Director’s office, will be on the 8th floor.
13. Will we be able to record meeting sessions in the new building?
If your meeting is on MS Teams, then yes you can record meetings when required.
14. Is it a book-a-desk kind of set up or do we have individual allocated spaces?
The working methodology differs between departments. There are some permanent allocated desks, as well as hot desking options. Hot desking will require booking via our Cloud Booking system.
15. Where will all the archived manual Human Resources Employee documentation be stored?
Limited storage facilities will be available. We will archive old files and ensure that legal retention of documents is correctly implemented. There will be storage facilities for recent files for each department in 144 Oxford.
16. Will there be a prayer room?
Yes, there is a multi-faith prayer room, on the 6th floor.
