Microsoft will soon be retiring this platform and going forward will treat video like any other file.<\/p><p><strong class=\"green\">What does this mean for us?<\/strong><br \/>From September 15, 2023, we will need to store and share videos and recordings on our OneDrive, SharePoint, or MS Teams sites.<\/p><p>We won\u2019t be able to add new content to the Stream Classic portal, (although we\u2019ll be able to see old content there until February 2025).<\/p><p><strong class=\"green\">Do I need to move my content?<\/strong><br \/>No. Between August and December this year, IM will move all content currently on Stream Classic to your OneDrive, a SharePoint site, or a Teams site, depending on the nature of the recording. You can find out more about the process <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/angloamerican.sharepoint.com\/:p:\/s\/ESC-112\/EUCOZ7iMIa1ChGRRH7pu3FMBHavqzF0MEf52x-t8xChBWA?e=PoKeLz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong class=\"green\">How will this affect me?<\/strong><br \/>Most people in Anglo American and De Beers don\u2019t \u201ccreate\u201d videos \u2013 though many of us keep recordings of Teams meetings.<\/p><p><strong class=\"green\">Teams recordings<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Any recordings of Teams meeting between colleagues made after 2021, are already saved to your OneDrive.<\/li><li>Teams meetings made before 2021 will be moved by IM from Stream Classic to your OneDrive.<\/li><li>Any recordings of meetings held in a Teams channel prior to 2021, will be moved from Stream Classic to a folder on the corresponding Teams site.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong class=\"green\">Video content<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>The IM programme team will get in touch directly if you own videos stored &#8211; in a group or a channel &#8211; on Stream Classic. They will confirm where your material will be saved.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong class=\"green\">Other changes:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>From September 15, 2023: you can no longer use Stream Live for live meetings \u2013 please use Teams Live instead.<\/li><li>From February 15, 2024: you can no longer search for videos on Stream Classic.
