Why are we moving to 144 Oxford?
- GMC mandate (to accommodate all Business Functions and BUs’ corporate office colleagues in one building) will drive integration and collaboration between BUs.

When will our move take place?
Our move to 144 Oxford is planned to take place at the beginning of December 2022.
Will there be department areas, or will we book and sit anywhere across the Kumba floor?
This is currently being considered by the logistics team, to determine layout and allocation options. Based on what is feasible, a proposal will be shared with Exco for approval. We will then feedback to you.
How many days per week will we be in the office?
We will continue to be at the office on a compulsory basis on Mondays and Thursdays every week. Once we have moved into 144 Oxford and are settled, we will re-evaluate whether this model is working well.
The office is open 5 days a week. We encourage colleagues to use the building on other days as well, particularly during loadshedding, or when you are experiencing connectivity challenges.
Will a Travel Allowance be provided to me?
No travel allowances will be provided. The intention is to give us all time in Q3 and Q4 this year to make the necessary adjustments to our personal schedules and plan well ahead of the 1 December move.
We are no longer expected to be in the office 5 days a week and Rosebank is closer to us than Marshalltown was – when allowances were initially discussed under A Re Yeng.
Will the Relocation Allowance announced in A Re Yeng be available to me?

I have already relocated, after the A Re Yeng move announcement, and I was expecting a relocation grant.
