Yes, Anglo American, De Beers Group and Kumba will occupy their own floor space.

Yes, there is a parent and child room on each work floor with private facilities for nursing.
Is there a crèche or aftercare centre?
No, there are no crèche or aftercare facilities at 144 Oxford, there are however several crèches in the immediate area.
Is there a partnership or discounts arranged with any schools in the area surrounding the Rosebank office?
No.
Tell me more about Nambitha Gardens.
Nambitha Gardens can be found on the Ground floor of 144 Oxford.
They are open Monday to Friday, 07h00 – 18h30. Our world-class canteen is an inspiring space to gather and share a meal with colleagues, eat breakfast and lunch at any of the various eateries. There is a feast of food on offer, catering to all tastes.
Pre-packed meals and sandwiches for employees working late will be available in the Honesty Bar (Ground Floor) takeaway section.
Tell me more about the Vuka Coffee bar.
Our smart new coffee bar provides a light-filled space to have coffee and freshly baked cookies and other sweet goodies.
Can I eat my lunch at my desk?
Hot food and meals may not be taken away from Nambitha Gardens and eaten at your desk or anywhere else. Cold options, such as sandwiches, wraps and salads, can be enjoyed in the Work Cafés, situated on every floor, away from your desk.
Can I consume hot beverages at my desk?
Yes, but please make use of the closed lid cups provided to ensure minimal safety incidents such as burns or spillage. Please do not take these cups home, they are for re-use in the building only.
Will dietary requirements such as vegetarian, halaal, and kosher be accommodated?
Yes, the canteen will cater for special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, halaal and kosher.
Will we get a daily food allowance?
A daily subsidy of R70 will be provided to employees. This amount cannot be rolled over or accumulated. If employees spend over and above this subsidy, they will need to pay the difference via one of the payment methods at 144 Oxford. Note: 144 Oxford is a cashless environment. You can use your Access Card (subsidy), bank cards or Zapper to pay for your meals and drinks at the checkout or point of sale. There will be no cash loader machine available to top up your Access Card balance.

For the safety of our SMMEs, employees and for speed, efficiency, and accountability we decided cashless is best.
Is there a gym?
Yes, there is the Anglo American Gym is located on the 7th floor. It has spinning and aerobics studios, as well as a stretch, cardio, and weights zone. Changing rooms are also available. It is open from Monday to Thursday, 05h00 – 19h00 & Friday, 05h00 – 18h00.

What is the monthly fee for membership to the Anglo American gym?
R189 per month.
What will happen to our Kumba partnership with Planet Fitness?
It will remain for current members for the 2022 year till March 2023. The membership is national (any Planet Fitness in SA). It will expire at the end of March 2023.
What facilities are available at the wellness centre?
The team provides a range of services, including Business Care, Wellness Screenings and Occupational Health – it is not a medical facility.
Where will we do our yearly Medical Check-ups?
Kumba employees will do their yearly medical check-ups at Anglo American Wellness Centre in the Rosebank office. Anglo American also has a formal arrangement with the Travel Doctor for employee medicals. The Travel Doctor, Rosebank Clinic etc. are all within 500m of the building.
Is there a prayer room?
Yes, there is a multi-faith prayer room, on the 6th floor.
Is there a Travellers Lounge?
Yes, we have a Travellers Lounge on the 6th floor at 144 Oxford only to assist visitors who have arrived directly from the airport or have not checked into the hotel and need to freshen up for the day. Bookings can be made by emailing naomi.neethling@angloamerican.com

Do colleagues from our Kumba business unit site operations qualify to work in the building?
Colleagues from sites can also apply for a Rosebank office access card. This requires a cost code for the daily meal allowance.
Can colleagues from our Kumba business unit site operations use the Travellers Lounge?
The Travellers’ Lounge is available, upon booking, there is a reception that can assist with requests. Bookings can be made by emailing naomi.neethling@angloamerican.com
Is there an ATM in the building?
Due to security reasons, there are no ATMs at 144 Oxford. There are ATMs and branches of all major banks in the Rosebank precinct and Rosebank Mall.
Can we have facilities to lock up equipment when leaving the office?
144 Oxford has lock-up cabinets at the end of each desk cluster. These are shared with the team and special arrangements can be made to lock your equipment in these cabinets overnight. Lockers will be for daily use only and will be reset and opened every day by security, therefore your belongings will need to be cleared out of the lockers at the end of the day. Please do not leave food or perishable items in the lockers. We can identify and allocate certain lockers for longer use – this will go through an approval process, but the majority should be daily use only.
